Community Acupuncture
What is Community Acupuncture?
Community acupuncture is acupuncture done in a group setting at a reduced rate. This special service offers our patients an alternative to full-priced treatments and allows for more flexibility with scheduling. This option is especially beneficial to patients who need more frequent treatments. Our community acupuncture is open to both new and current patients.*
At the Womb Wellness Center our community acupuncture allows for three people to be treated at a time. Each person is seated in a Zero Gravity chair, shoes and socks should be removed and placed under their chair. Our acupuncturist will spend several minutes discussing your condition and then they will place needles in corresponding acupuncture points. Most needles will be inserted in the hands, feet, arms and legs - so please wear clothing that can access these areas easily. Needles will be retained for around 30 minutes.
How does community acupuncture differ from a full-priced treatment?
Who can benefit from Community Acupuncture?
*If you have a complicated or chronic health concern or multiple conditions that are you seeking treatment for, we recommend that you make an initial appointment one-on-one with one of our acupuncturists so we have a better understanding of your unique condition and how to treat you.
What to Expect During a Community Acupuncture Treatment:
Our Group Acupuncture treatments are available weekly on Tuesdays from 12:00-2:00pm
Community Acupuncture Rates:
$45.00 per visit.
